Hi Kyle,

Just because human beings are not perfect does not contradict the fact that God exists and he is perfect. Because of sin, many, many terrible things can happen. And I agree that the world is full of so-called Christians who don't truly open their hearts to the truth about God. But for every person you can list who has done wrong even though they call themselves a believer, I can list a person who has done good. This is because many, many people have opened their hearts to God and accepted his help. I am sinner, but I know I am loved beyond my understanding and that God is helping me everyday to live my life according to his truth. God reads our hearts, and if we truly want to know him and to share in his goodness, then yes, believing in the one, true God does make you less likely to kill people.
