PORTSMOUTH — A five-bedroom home at 110 Farmlands Drive has sold for $3.91 million.

According to statewide multiple listing service data, this is one of the top five home sales in Portsmouth this year so far.

The 4.2-bath home known as Eastwell House was built in 2007 and sits on the former site of a 67-acre, saltwater farm. The property includes white plank fences, orchards, and rolling lawns along the Sakonnet River, along with 45 acres of preserved open space and water views.

Featuring New England shingle-style architecture and contemporary interiors, the home has a two-story foyer with grand staircase, a deep, wraparound, bluestone terrace with circular veranda, and an attached carriage house.

A double-sided fireplace warms both the Sub-Zero and Wolf eat-in kitchen and the formal dining area. Additional features include wide-plank, white oak floors, custom mill work, upstairs and downstairs laundries, and a finished basement featuring a half bath, den, gym, cedar closet, and painting studio.

Former Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy once lived further down the street at 210 Farmlands Drive. He sold his home in 2012 for $1.15 million.

Residential Properties Ltd. sales associate Lee Scura Holloway represented the buyer.
