Marjorie Borden (Glines) Connolly, 94, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 at Heatherwood Nursing Home in Newport. She was the wife of the late Walter A. Connolly, II.
Born Dec. 4, 1922, in Quincy, Mass., she was the only child of Helen (Borden) and Ralph Bryant Glines. A resident of Barrington for many years, she also lived in Little Compton and Portsmouth.
She leaves a son Walter A. Connolly III (Sarah); daughter Christine MacDonald (Steven Fielding); two grandsons, Ian MacDonald (Tracy Harper) and Benjamin MacDonald; three granddaughters, Chelsie, Faith and Olivia Connolly and a great-grandson, Atticus MacDonald. A graveside service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Newport Art Museum, 76 Bellevue Avenue, Newport, RI 02840.
