A vehicle struck a deer on Long Highway at 7:52 a.m.
Police were notified that a dog had bitten a person on Mullin Hill Road at 2:56 p.m.
Tuesday, April 28
At 12:29 p.m., police were notified by another agency that a motorist is driving and live-steaming that she is smoking marijuana, possibly in the Little Pond Cove Road area. Police located the vehicle, read the driver her rights and called a wrecker. The driver agreed to take a chemical test — no word on the outcome.
At 5:23 p.m., a caller reported that one dog had bitten another on John Dyer Road.
Thursday, April 30
Alerted by Tiverton Police to be on the lookout for an erratic driver, police stopped a vehicle on West Main Road at 11:18 a.m. Rescue was called but the driver declined treatment — a family member was called to pick up the driver.
A dog on a leash was attacked by two other dogs on Amy Hart Path, a caller told police at 7:06 p.m.
Friday, May 1
A caller requested a wellness check on a Pottersville Road neighbor — packages left at the door and recently heard a gunshot in the area. Officers reported that they were able to make contact with the person.
Saturday, May 2
A resident dropped off ammunition at the police station to be disposed of.
Sunday, May 3
A car struck and injured a deer in Long Highway at 1:21 a.m. The deer had to be killed.
A Shaw Road resident contacted police at 10:08 a.m. to report fraud.
