Virus cases surge in E. Providence, Bristol — the town-by-town count

Confirmed coronavirus cases spiked across the state by 412 Thursday, and in the East Bay as well.

East Providence, at 281 cases, and Bristol which jumped to 47, showed the biggest increases.

Across the line in Westport, confirmed cases now stand at 16 as of Friday.
