First United Methodist Church of Warren/Bristol welcomes the public to a free pancake breakfast on Rally Sunday. Participants may also register for Sunday school and stay for worship at 10:45 a.m. There will be crafts for kids, an ice cream social and old-time games on the church lawn after the service.

11th Annual Narrows Festival of the Arts @ Narrows Center for the Arts
Festival features over 30 fine artisan vendors, a fun-filled family area led by the Children’s Museum of Greater Fall River, a food court and live music. Portsmouth Democrats’ Clamboil @ Portsmouth Portuguese American Citizens Club
The Portsmouth Democratic Town Committee sponsors its annual clamboil beginning with all-you-can-eat homemade chowder and clam cakes, at which time diners can also take advantage of bargains during the auction. A New England clamboil features fresh clams, chourico, sausage, hot dogs, sweet potato, onion, potato and corn on the cob. Tickets are available at the PA Club, Allen’s Wine and Spirits, Ferreira’s Package Store or by calling Vern Gorton at 401/683-4800. Tickets at the door may be limited.

Linden Place Museum continues its 2012 concert series Sunday with a concert featuring the music of Windharp (pictured) and Mystic Voyagers in the historic sculpture and rose gardens of Linden Place. Windharp is an eclectic group of musicians who have performed traditional and contemporary Celtic music on guitars, harp, mandolin, flute, whistles and bodhran for over 20 years. The Mystic Voyagers folk trio features a unique blend of songs from Ireland and Scotland, songs of the sea, and popular songs from the ’60s and ’70s. Bring a blanket or chair and a picnic basket with your own wine or beverages. In the case of rain, the concert will be moved to the Linden Place Ballroom.

Performance by Windharp and Mystic Voyagers @ Linden Place Museum
Katina Makris, a veteran homeopath and author, will share her 10-year healing journey from misdiagnosed Lyme disease when she appears at this event hosted by Southcoast Lyme. Ms. Makris is author of “Out of the Woods: Healing Lyme Disease — Body Mind & Spirit,” written by a health care practitioner from the vantage point of a patient. She’ll share insights into the Lyme paradox and tools for regaining one’s health.
Catherine Lutz, professor of anthropology at Brown University, will discuss “The Costs of War: Human, Economic, Social and Political,” focusing on the Costs of War report about the past decade of wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan. The program is sponsored by the East Bay Citizens for Peace, the American Friends Service Committee, South East New England and the Barrington Public Library.

The Weaver Library welcomes author Adam Braver, who will be speaking about his new book, “Misfit,” a novel focusing on the last weekend of Marilyn Monroe’s life. Author Ann Hood will join him afterwards for a discussion on writing historical fiction. Books by Braver and Hood will be available for purchase and signing.
