    1. Westport Grange Christmas Fair @ Westport Grange
      10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Make your own s’more, sample roasted chestnuts, pet some alpacas, view Christmas wreaths and greenery, and browse works sold by many artisans. There will also be face-painting with Gail Denardo, and lobster rolls, chowders, baked goods and hot coffee at the Grange Cafe. The music duo River Rats will play from 10:30 a.m. to noon and again at 1 p.m. Magician Skip Daniels will perform at 12:30 p.m.

    2. Winter’s Arts & Artisan Fair @ The Meeting House
      10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Shop for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts from 25 local artists and artisans working with wood, fiber, leather, glass, soap, paintings, photography and jewelry. Fresh-cut trees, garland, hand-decorated wreaths, jams and jellies from Sakonnet Farm will also be on display and for sale. Fair is also held the following day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    3. Barty Smarty’s Christmas Caper @ Barrington Public Library
      2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Bring the family to this hilarious interactive musical holiday happening. Join Barty as he croons to you in your seat, busts a move down your aisle and forces you to sing along to his own upbeat electronic versions of holiday tunes. Accompanying the music will be a video collage of classic holiday animation and television specials projected onto the big screen.

    4. Family Gingerbread House Workshop @ Blithewold Mansion & Gardens
      2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

In this hands-on workshop, the whole family will work together to create the candy-filled house of your dreams. Learn about the history of the traditional German lebkuchenhaus, too. Fee includes all materials, but bring along a special treat to use on your house. Call or visit the website to register.

    5. Ham and Hymn Supper @ First Baptist “Old Stone” Church
      5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

The menu will include baked ham, potatoes, vegetable, bread, a beverage and dessert. Afterward, there will be a time of fellowship as guests select hymns to sing (hymnals will be provided). Any proceeds will benefit the ministries of the church. Call the church office if you plan to attend.
