William “Bill” P. Harper, 87, of Keller, Texas, passed away Aug. 26 in Keller.
Mr. Harper was born Aug. 21, 1931. He was a professional bull rider, retired from ITT and always a cowboy. He served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1952.
He was a member of the Bristol Hall of Fame, and he was very active with the King Phillip Little league.
Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosemary; daughter, Bernadine; and brothers, Boyd and Charles. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons Bill, Bob, David and Mel; daughters Susan Waddell, Kelly Harper and Lori Thibeault; step-children Lyn, Ken and Rebecca; sister Bernadine; brother Herman; 19 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at 9 a.m. in North Burial Ground, 1081 Hope St., Bristol. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
