Bristol Fire Department rescue workers wheel a victim of a three car accident to the rescue truck while police and fire officials work the accident scene in the south bound lane of Metacom Avenue on Wednesday afternoon. The woman, the driver of a white Volkswagen sedan, was hit from behind by the driver of a Toyota pickup truck, who was hit from behind by a white van in the vicinity of Sherman Avenue. The accident happened shortly after noon and caused lines of traffic heading both north and south bound on Metacom Avenue.
