Letter: ‘SpongeBob’ musical was a great success

To the editor:

On Saturday, April 29, I joined a large audience enjoying the spring musical – “SpongeBob SquarePants” presented by the Mt. Hope High School Music Department – an outstanding production!

As devotees of musical theatre know, these contemporary musicals incorporate almost continuous solo and choral singing, dialogue of course, and also continuous choreography. Those ingredients enhanced by delightful scenery, costuming, and lighting carried us “under the sea” to a fanciful world of group effort conquering fear!

Congrats to the directors, cast, and crew for a totally professional production!
