The Barrington High School boys lacrosse team moved its record to 6-2 after knocking off Mount St. Charles 20-6 at Victory Field on Saturday, April 29.

Sophomores Nick Spaight and Colin Hope had five goals each, and junior Quinn McNamara added four of his own, and one was right-handed.

Chase Squires, Ben Parylak, and Robby Pippitt combined to win 71 percent of the face-offs on the day. The defensive unit had a solid outing and goalies Ryan Valentine and Grant Isdale combined for 12 saves.

The win was a bounce back after Barrington lost to Moses Brown, 15-8 on Tuesday, April 25.

Hope had three goals and one assist, and Jake Ignall, Parylak, Tucker Squires, McNamara, and Max Laroche each had a goal as well. Squires won 22 of 26 face-offs and Ryan Valentine recorded nine saves in the loss.

Barrington, which is currently third in Division I standings, was scheduled to play at home against North Kingstown on Tuesday, and will host East Greenwich on Friday.
