Barrington Police responded to Barrington Beach on Wednesday, June 8, after receiving a report about a dog wandering around the beach off-leash.
Police located the dog and eventually discovered that it belonged to a Bluff Road resident. Police issued the dog’s owner a summons for improper restraint of a dog.
Barrington Police want to remind everyone that it is against town ordinance to bring a dog to the beach during the summer beach season.
