Crowd turns out for parade and ceremony

Posted

This year's Barrington Memorial Day Parade celebrated "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" - the cause for which veterans and deceased service members fought.

The parade traveled along the traditional route from in front of the high school, turning left on Upland Way and down Barrington Avenue, and then turning left again to proceed down Maple Avenue to Town Hall.

A ceremony was held on the lawn in front of the town hall following the parade.
