BHS captain Stella Hillier led the Eagles with five goals and one assist and Anna Lombardi had four goals and five draw controls. Alex Hope had four assists, and Ashley DaCosta also played a key role in the victory — she scored two goals, tallied two assists and had three draw controls.

“Ashley had the game-winning goal with three seconds left on a free position shot that she took with such ease and poise — it was a great moment for the freshman midfielder,” said BHS Coach Selina Dacey.

Emily Horn scored a goal and had two draw controls, while Ellie Palmieri had an assist. Lily O’Neil finished the game with two assists. Katie McAdams made nine saves in net.

Lombardi scored seven goals, tallied three assists and won 11 draw controls, while leading the Eagles to a 21-9 win over South Kingstown. The Eagles opened the week with close losses to East Greenwich and Portsmouth.

In a 13-11 loss to the Avengers, Horn scored five goals and tallied one assist, and Lombardi scored three goals, had five assists and four draw controls. O’Neil had one goal and one assist, and Hillier had a goal and one draw control. McAdams was strong in net, making 12 saves.

Barrington dropped a tough 11-10 game in overtime against Portsmouth. Lombardi scored three goals and had six draw controls, while O’Neil finished with one goal and two assists. Horn played well, scoring twice against a tough Portsmouth team. BHS defensive standout Lily Kirk went coast-to-coast with a caused turnover and ended the play with a goal of her own. Scandura scored one and assisted on another, while Hillier and DaCosta each had goals. Alex Hope finished with two assists.
