All are welcome to Barrington's tree lighting this Saturday

Annual event will also feature a visit from Santa

The Barrington Tree Lighting event will be held outside Barrington Town Hall on Saturday, Dec. 3.

The festivities will kick off with cooking decorating from 2 to 3:30 p.m., and snowman bowling and other holiday carnival games from 2 to 4. 

Santa Claus is scheduled to stop by at 3:45 — children are encouraged to bring along their letters to give to Santa.

Musical performances will begin at 4:30, and the Barrington High School Choral Ensemble is scheduled to begin at 5.

At 5 p.m., the tree lighting will take place.

The entire event is free to the public, and will also feature food trucks.
