The Barrington High School girls basketball team knocked off LaSalle 46-33 and East Providence 52-27 last week, and Juanita Sanchez 59-35 this week and moved into first place.
Isys Dunphy had a stellar game against LaSalle — the BHS junior scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Janaya Prince Baquero and Maddie Gill filled the scoring column with 10 points each.
Against East Providence, Gill dropped in 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Dunphy also had a double-double, finishing with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The wins propelled Barrington to a 10-1 record in Division I standings. The Eagles are tied for first place in the division with Bay View.
