Westport police:  Swansea woman faces multiple drug charges

Monday, April 25

Police investigated a suspicious automobile spotted at Adamsville and Sodom Roads just before 2 a.m.

Two men were arrested on warrants after police pulled a car over on Miss Rachel Trail at 2:41 a.m. Arrested on default warrants were Tyler Adam DaCosta, 24, of 75 Palmer St.,Apt. 2R, Fall River, and Anthony Michael Costa, 23, of 647 Old Westport Road, Dartmouth.

A caller reported the violation of a restraining order on Conserve Avenue just after 7 a.m.

Tuesday, April 26

Robin L. Laroche, 36, of 473 Old Fall River Road, Swansea, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs, possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute, possession of Class E, C and B drugs, and cited for operating with a suspended license, after police were called to State Road at 8:40 a.m. via 911, for a report of a suspicious person.

Police served a restraining order on Sherman Court at 4:59 p.m.

A caller from Bayberry Drive reported a missing person. The person was later located.

Wednesday, April 27

A Hix Bridge Road resident reported larceny, forgery or fraud.

Carol Annette Costa, 62, of 115 Charlotte White Road, was charged with vandalism after police pulled her over on Charlotte White Road at 2:03 p.m.

Police said it stemmed from an incident caught on video surveillance, when Costa was seen allegedly spreading a substance on a neighbor's lawn. It was later determined to be salt.

Police served a restraining order on Sanford Road at 5:06 p.m.

A Gifford Road resident reported identity fraud.

Friday, April 29

Police got a call about a civil dispute on Donna Street at 5:45 p.m.

Saturday, April 30

Amy Jean Durant, 49, of 125 Beacon Hill Ave., Apt. 2, Lynn, was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, possession of a Class B drug, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, after police pulled her over on State Road at 1:38 a.m.
