A Lawton Avenue resident called 911 to report threats made at 8:35 am.

Police went to Oakland Street at 10:32 am regarding a complaint that a person plowed snow onto a neighbor’s yard.

At 2:23 pm, an East Road caller reported that, while a Culligan Systems installer was trying to do an installation, a tenant was being disorderly.

Tiverton rescue responded at 7:20 pm to a mutual aid call on Colebrook Road in Little Compton at 7:20 pm involving an accident with a passenger trapped in a vehicle.

Tuesday, Feb. 9

At 3:13 am, several people called 911 to complain of noise at Applecreek Apartments on Windwood Drive, both in a third floor apartment and coming from a vehicle in the parking lot. Police found “multiple parties involved, everyone advised to keep it down.”

At 8:05 am, the animal control officer went to John Duggan Road after a resident reported trapping an animal in the basement — it’s in a cage.

A car struck a dog on Stafford Road at 12:49 pm. The dog was taken to an emergency veterinary hospital.

Wires were reported down on Karen Avenue at 1:38 pm.

A caller at Applecreek Apartments, Windwood Drive, reported that people are making lots of noise at 1:47 pm.

A hospital called at 5 pm to report that a Tiverton resident had left with an IV still in her arm. That resident told police that she had disposed of the IV in a biohazard bin before leaving.

At 8:31 pm, police began an extensive search for an elderly man who relatives feared might have driven away and become lost. Officers contacted area hospitals, all beaches in Tiverton and Little Compton were checked, as were numerous other locations. At 8:21 pm the next day, Bristol Police called to reported that the man had just been located and was sent to the hospital to be checked out.

Dylan M. Ferreira, 21, of 2349 Main Road, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, .15 percent concentration or greater, and driving with a suspended license at 11:40 pm at a Bulgarmarsh Road location. Police had been called (near Mulberry Lane) to report that a vehicle had sideswiped an electric pole. The car had to be towed.

Wednesday, Feb.10

Police went to Windwood Apartments at 8:56 am for a neighbor dispute.

Todd D. Carvalho, 38, of 42 Bay St., Tiverton, was arrested on a charge of possession of narcotics with intent to deliver, at 6:30 pm at a Pocasset Avenue location.

Timothy M. Puim, 33, of Dartmouth, Mass., was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence, blood alcohol concentration unknown, at 11:50 pm on Canning Boulevard.

Police assisted at Pocasset School at 3:28 pm with clearing parent cars that were parked in the fire lane.

Police could not locate participants in an alleged road rage incident in the area of Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 3:46 pm.

A mother called to report that a juvenile, with whom her son had been playing an on-line video game, became upset over losing, pulled out a knife, stabbed the desk, threatened to harm himself, and then punched his computer, causing it to go dark.

Police were called to Bourne Mill Apartments after a resident said she could hear a neighbor hitting her child.

An officer was called to Tiverton Casino at 10:51 pm to assist with a permanent ejection.

Thursday, Feb. 11

A Main Road store owner called 911 to report a possible break-in — money missing — at 3:13 pm.

Matthew Dorego, 35, of Fall River, was arrested on a warrant and on charges of felony assault — intimidation, and larceny of a motor vehicle, at 10:48 am at a Hooper Street address.

Christopher J. Pensak, 39, of Fall River, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, blood alcohol concentration unknown, and possession of a weapon other than a firearm, at 7:35 pm on Route 24.
