Phyllis B. Fontaine, 88, Westport

Phyllis B. (Morin) Fontaine, 88, of Westport, died Thursday, March 30, 2017, at St. Anne's Hospital.  She was wife of the late Thomas E. Brown and the late Normand Fontaine.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late George C. and Leonora (Place) Morin.  Mrs. Fontaine was a former communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport and was past president of A.R.C.

Survivors include a son, Thomas E. Brown Jr. and his wife Lorraine of Galveston, Texas; three daughters, Anne Marie Brown Gazdik and her husband Michael of Westport, Patricia Brown Brassard and her husband Paul of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, and Judith Mary Brown of Fall River; a brother, George Morin of Nazareth, Penn.; a sister, Eileen Lake of So. Yarmouth, Mass.; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late: Margaret Goslin and Marjorie Gorman.

Memorial visitation will be Friday, April 7, from 5-8 p.m.

Her memorial service, to which relatives and friends are also invited, will be Saturday, April 8, at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport, at 10 a.m.  

Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Special Olympics, 512 Forest Street, Marlborough, MA 01752.
