Muriel A. (Sisson) Perry, 88, of Fall River, passed away peacefully, at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.  She was the former wife of the late Joseph Perry Jr.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Melville W. and Annie (McCauley) Sisson, she had lived in Westport for most of her life until to moving to Fall River in 1990.

A graduate of Dartmouth High School, Class of 1950, she then attended Kinyon Campbell Business School.  She worked at Brown's Pharmacy for many years prior to working at Egans Church Supplies of Somerset until her retirement in 1997.

Mrs. Perry was an avid reader and she enjoyed NASCAR and country music with her friends on Friday nights.  A diehard Red Sox fan, she loved watching games with her sister Barbara. She made many friendships throughout her life.  Her childhood nickname "Babe" affectionately followed her throughout her life and later became known as "Nana".  Most of all though, she loved being with her family.

Camara and her husband Cliff of Westport, Linda J. Perry of Westport and Lori A. Perry and her husband Jeffrey King of S. Dartmouth; a sister, Barbara L. Tansey of Fall River; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was mother of the late Russell J. Perry, grandmother of the late Jacob J. Perry and sister of the late Allen F. Sisson and Melville H. Sisson.

Private services under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport will be held.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
