To the editor:
I read with interest the article regarding several sets of parents who are fighting the state mandate that all children, faculty and administrators in schools wear masks. They most certainly have the right to be heard.
However, I was disheartened that there was no article to balance another frame of thought. Many parents DO agree with this mandate and DO send their children (masked) to school.
Hearing and reading of families’ stories, their struggles and joys, is so powerful. It is with our stories that we can connect to each other. So, I am hopeful that next week you will strike that balance and highlight stories of parents who follow the mask mandate.
Thank you.
