Letter: Kinnane Brotthers; what a story!

It warmed my heart to hear about the film exploits of the Kinnane Brothers of Adamsville. My family and I watched "Head Coach" on Netflix a few weeks ago and I had no idea it was directed by people in our own backyard until I read the story in the Westport Shorelines. Imagine the pride in our community we felt when we learned that the film is a locally-made product.

Thanks to the Shorelines for reporting on this slice of life and three cheers to the Kinnane Brothers. Your movie provided a few hours of quality family entertainment and we all loved it. We are looking forward to great things from our local film dynasty. Break a leg!

He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
