Letter: Help Westport decide community preservation priorities
To the editor:
The Westport Community Preservation Committee invites all interested parties to attend our September 12, 2019, meeting at 7:05 p.m. on the second floor of the Town Hall.
A public informational hearing will be held to study the needs, possibilities and resources of the town regarding community preservation.
The committee invites proposals that could be recommended to Town Meeting for funding in the coming fiscal year in the categories of open space and recreation, historic preservation and community housing.
The CPC invites the public’s input on the types of projects you believe to be significant to Westport. New ideas or the reaffirmation of ongoing projects will facilitate our decision making process. Please participate in helping the CPC plan their appropriations for the future. As always thank you for volunteering your time and caring about the future of Westport.
