To the editor:
I was incredibly heartened by David Cole's response to my letter about osprey relocation.
I felt heard and respected, while at the same time he gave a very detailed, eloquent explanation of the history and valiant efforts to salvage and rebuild an osprey population here, which has proven very successful. There as no finger point or belligerent ranting, just a calm rational explanation. I want to thank him for this.
My original letter was coming from a gut reaction to the imbalance we humans have created while he made known ways that caring individuals are trying to do something about it. And because of that, I can hear him and appreciate what is being done.
Isn't this a wonderful example of the ways we can actually have a conversation with one another, and hear what the other is saying? Thank you David.
