Warren Walkabout begins this Sunday

Events held on six Sundays throughout Nov. 28

Posted

This year the Warren Walkabout, hosted by Discover Warren, will be a series of Sundays from Oct. 24 through Nov. 28. The Warren Walkabout all began 20 years ago as an annual event to encourage residents and visitors to enjoy all that Warren has to offer and to support local business establishments and the community.

This is a family-friendly street style festival celebrating local small businesses and highlighting the growing downtown district. The fun will be spread out over six Sundays. Festivities will begin at 12 p.m. and continue until 4 p.m. each Sunday through Nov. 28.

This is a great way to enjoy all the Warren downtown charm with activities for the entire family. Explore the vibrant historic downtown with unique water views, architecture, shops and boutiques, eateries, and cafes, plus a rare glimpse into artist workshops and studios with live artist feature demonstrations. Enjoy live music by local musicians. Many businesses will feature sidewalk sales, special store happenings, and food pop-ups.

Shop local and enjoy the fall season at the Warren Walkabout. Plenty of parking, pedestrian access, just drive, bike, boat, or bus to Warren, Rhode Island.

“Every year the Warren Walkabout brings incredible energy and fun to downtown Warren, RI,” said Bob Rulli, Director of Planning & Community Development. “This community supports local business and brings a community spirit, and this year promises to continue the tradition.”

Sponsors of the Warren Walkabout include Discover Warren, Navigant Credit Union, and Jay Barry Cultural Arts Center. For more information, visit DiscoverWarren.com or email info@discoverwarren.com.
