Family man, veteran, accountant made friends easily

Warren Richard Specht, 74, of Warren, RI passed away on Thursday June 25th, 2020.  Born in Wisconsin, October 9th, 1945, he was one of three siblings.  He was a loving brother to his two sisters whom both unfortunately predeceased him, his older sister Karen Sadler, and his younger more firey sister Carolyn Dasher.   He lovingly leaves behind his son Justin and his wife, Aline, and his two grandsons Steven and Thomas.   He also leaves behind his friend and companion Donna Neville and her two children Lilli and Conant.  All who will dearly miss him very much.

Warren was an excellent swimmer in his younger years and became a lifeguard.   When he was older, he found a greater calling and enlisted in the U.S. Navy.  While in the Navy, holding a rank of ASW 2nd Class, he was stationed on multiple aircraft carriers, the WASP (CVS-18), and the INTREPID (CVS-11) to name a couple.  Both of these carriers were commissioned for Anti-Submarine Warfare.  He flew with the Topcats Anti-Submarine Squadron.  He was very proud Navy veteran.

After the Navy he went to Roger Williams University where he graduated at the top of his class with a degree in accounting. During that time he settled down and started a family. Over the years, he had built a strong and loving family.   He spent his last years with his loving friend and companion Donna and she was with him at the end.

Warren had a long great career doing a variety of different things in his life, making friends everywhere along the way.   All of his family and friends will miss him dearly as he was a good man.    We wish him well and pray for him as he rejoins his family that have all passed before him.

We Love You Always……

Fair Winds, and Calm Seas…

God Bless!
