Monday, Dec. 2
A caller reported that a former tenant in a Child Street apartment left damage upon moving out, and also left a cat behind. The animal control officer set up a trap to catch the cat.
A Fatima Drive woman reported having issues with her adult daughter.
Police dispersed a woman after getting a call from a Wood Street resident who said she refused to leave.
Tuesday, Dec. 3
A car struck and killed a deer near the intersection of Kickemuit Road and Everett Street. DEM was called, and the deer was moved to the side of the road for DEM pickup in the morning.
Wednesday, Dec. 4
A caller complained at 12:11 a.m. that the horn on a bus parked on Market Street was blowing continuously. An officer arrived but was unable to disable the horn, and noted that it would be monitored throughout the night.
A Child Street resident complained that a car was taken without consent. Police tracked down the car, and the victim’s ex, and the vehicle was returned.
A Metacom Avenue worker reported receiving counterfeit bills.
A caller complained about a juvenile running back and forth across the road.
Multiple callers reported spotting an injured swan on Child Street.
Christian A. Palombo, 42, of Riverside, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, third or subsequent offense, after police pulled him over on Main Street at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 5
A caller alleged that a neighbor on Seymour Street was growing and selling marijuana.
Michael F. Lopes, 64, of 885 Main St., was arrested on a bench warrant from Sixth Division District Court in Providence following an accident at Arlington Avenue and Rosa Boulevard called in at 9:15 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 6
A caller reported a trapped skunk on Emery Road; the animal control officer arrived and released it.
A caller from Main Street reported that there was a hole in a sidewalk which “seems” hazardous. DPW workers ended up coning off the area.
Saturday, Dec. 7
A hysterical woman from Baker Street caalled 911 to ask for police and then hung up.
An Adams Lane, Barrington man called to complain that duck hunters on the river were overshooting, and pellets were hitting his house.
A Wheaton Street woman called police to ask for help after locking herself out of her house.
A caller reported a possible drunk driver on Market Street just before 6:30 p.m. Police pulled over the suspect vehicle; the elderly driver was not drunk.
A Main Street man asked fpr police assistance after locking himself out of his house.
A car struck and killed a deer at Schoolhouse Road and Kinnicutt Avenue.
Sunday, Dec. 8
A truck cover was reported stolen from a Laurel Lane home.
A Central Street woman asked that police come and remove her ex. Police arrived, and the man left.
A man called police to report an assault that occurred near the intersection of Metacom Avenue and Child Street.
Monday, Dec. 9
Desmond M. Williams, 21, of 39 Sowamsett Ave., was charged with simple assault or battery, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, first offense, after police pulled him over at Metacom Avenue and Bee Jay Court.
