Warren police logs: Quiet streets on Christmas week

Monday, Dec. 21
A Touisset Road man complained that someone drove onto his property and destroyed his trash cans.

Police helped the driver of a tractor trailer truck navigate the corner at Child and Elm streets.

The animal control officer was called out to Water and Washington streets for a sick/injured skunk.

Police looked for but could not locate a man reported looking into cars on Child Street just after noon.

A caller from out of state told police that her young daughter had been assaulted in Warren over the summer. Police questioned her and learned that she was calling the wrong Warren — the alleged incident occurred in Warren, N.H.

A Water Street man called police after spotting footsteps in the snow leading up to his window.

Tuesday, Dec. 22
A Metacom Avenue man asked to speak to an officer about an incident he'd had with his ex-girlfriend.

A driver on Market Street reported a car swerving all over the road just before 6 p.m.

A Child Street man requested the removal of his roommate. Police advised him that it was a civil matter.

Wednesday, Dec. 23
A Sisson Street man was transported to the hospital for alcohol detoxification.

A caller reported being harassed.

A Main Street man lodged a complaint about his damaged XBox video game.

Police dispersed a man from a Central Street home at a caller's request.

Kenneth L. Briand, 64, of 36 Third St., Apt. 214, was charged with failure to stop for an accident resulting in damage to a vehicle, obstructing an officer and driving without or with an expired license, following an earlier accident.

A caller reported a driver swerving all over the road on Market Street.

Thursday, Dec. 24
A Market Street woman told police she'd been receiving calls from a man who was saying nothing on the line.

A Davis Street woman said it appeared someone tried to get into her apartment, as the back door had been tampered with.

A Child Street man reported being the victim of a scam.

A Libby Lane woman called police after discovering a bird in her bathroom.

An oven fire call came in from Market Street at 12:19 p.m. The fire was out by 12:23 p.m.

A problem in the sewer lines caused flooding in a home on Asylum Road.

A caller from Federal Street asked that police disperse a man, following a child custody dispute.

Friday, Dec. 25
A Child Street woman reported that her neighbor hit her car in the driveway and left the scene.

Saturday, Dec. 26
A woman employed on Main Street reported finding a syringe behind the business.

A Palmer Avenue woman reported hearing the sound of a child crying some time during the night.

A Child Street woman came to headquarters to report being threatened by a neighbor.

A woman brought in a wallet she'd found on Patterson Avenue. The owner retrieved it about 20 minutes later.

A road rage call came in from Croade Street just before 5:30 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 27
A man called from Federal Street at 7:35 a.m. to report that a woman refused to get out of his car.

A caller reported a sick raccoon in Touisset.

A caller reported a domestic situation at a Child Street home.

A caller reported a speeder on Water Street.

A Market Street woman complained that her ex was following her in his car, despite a no contact order.

A caller reported a possible drunk driver on Cherry Street.

A Main Street woman asked police for help with harassment after she got into a dispute with a man over a card game.

A driver reported being tailgated on Main Street.

Kevin M. Soscia, 65, of 28 Child St., Apt. 6, was arrested on a bench warrant from Sixth Division District Court.
Police received a tip about possible drug dealing on Seymour Street.
