The following is a synopsis of the Warren Police Log from Monday, May 12-Sunday, May 18:
Monday, May 12
The new work week began with an officer stopping a vehicle what was traveling in the wrong direction on Arlington Avenue at about 10:30 a.m. The officer transported the operator to their place of residence about 45 minutes later.
Another motor vehicle stop later in the evening, at just after 7:15 p.m., on Market Street led to the arrest of a Bristol man. Michael C. Quito, 34, of 427 High St., Apt. #3, was taken into custody on the charges of Driving With Suspended/Revoked Cancelled License - 4th + Offense and a bench warrant issued from 2nd District Court. He was later arraigned and released with Tiverton Police being advised of the court date.
Tuesday, May 13
The Warren Animal Control officer was notified of a complaint on Kickemuit Road at just before 11 a.m. of a baby raccoon stuck in a storm drain. The responding officer extricated the animal and it was later picked up by Rhode Island Wildlife.
Officers responded to a disturbance call from Miller Street at 4:45 p.m., eventually arresting a Warren woman on alleged charges of domestic violence - simple assault and/or battery and domestic violence - disorderly conduct after a tenant/landlord dispute. Caitlyn M. Boisvert, 30, of 49 Miller St., Apt. #2, was later arraigned and taken to the Adult Correctional Institute.
A few hours later, officers again answered a disturbance call between family members, this time from Davis Street at about 7 p.m. and also made an arrest. Logan M. Faust, 31, of 25 Davis St. Apt. #2nd, Warren, was charged by police for alleged domestic violence - simple assault and/or battery - 1st offense and domestic violence - disorderly conduct - 1st offense. She was later arraigned and released.
Thursday, May 15
At the end of a motor vehicle stop on Market Street and Bee Jay Court, police arrested a Bristol man on charges of DUI of liquor - blood alcohol concentration unknown - 1st offense and refusal to submit chemical test. Roger P. Pratas, 56, of 497 Metacom Ave., was later arraigned and released.
Sunday, May 18
The weekend concluded with a pair of arrests by WPD.
The first came at the conclusion of a motor vehicle stop on Child Street and Serpentine Road at 6:15 p.m. Antonio Loras, 58, of 21 Butterworth Ave., Bristol, was charged for allegedly DUI of liquor - blood alcohol concentration unknown - 1st offense and refusal to submit chemical test. He was later arraigned and released.
At approximately 8:40 p.m., police arrested an Attleboro, Mass., man on alleged charges of domestic violence - simple assault and/or battery - 1st offense and domestic violence - disorderly conduct - 1st offense after responding to a disturbance call of a fight from Kickemuit Road. Frank Cavalieri III, 44, of 125 Park St., Apt #9, was eventually arraigned and released.
