Illegal dumping was reported in the area of Sixth Street at 9:31 a.m.

A catalytic converter was reportedly stolen from a vehicle near Water and Bridge Streets at 12:50 p.m.

Glass was reported in the roadway at Kickemuit Road and Arlington Avenue at 6:18 p.m. but was not observed by police.

A man reported receiving an injury during a hit and run incident in the area of Main and Seymour Streets at 9:20 p.m.

An intoxicated man was first reported to be blocking the entrance to a business on Market Street at 10:40 p.m., but was gone upon police arrival. The man returned to the establishment around 11:16 p.m. and was reportedly waiting for a bus.

Warren PD received a “be on lookout” request from Barrington Police at 11:57 p.m. regarding a stolen Chevy Traverse that had been traversing 95 South following a high-speed pursuit. A second stolen vehicle was allegedly involved.

Tuesday, Jan. 4
Icy roads were reported at Market and Redmond Streets at 9:51 a.m. The state DOT was advised.

A vehicle with heavy damage to its front end was reportedly unattended in the area of Main Street at 9:57 a.m.

A caller reported someone was stopping at houses in the area of Birchswamp and Schoolhouse Roads and taking photographs at 2:16 p.m.

Alysia Barrieault, 42, of Warren, was arrested at 2:19 p.m. and charged with the false reporting of a crime.

A suspicious person reported in the area of Cole Street at 7:32 p.m. turned out to be the owner of the business nearby.

Wednesday, Jan. 5
Police advised DOT of icy conditions on a bridge along Main Street at 4:01 a.m.

A three-car collision was reported at Market Street and Birchswamp Road at 8:19 a.m. Injuries were reported.

Another motor vehicle accident was reported on Main Street at 8:27 a.m. This time there were no injuries.

A caller on Brown Street reported their debit card had been stolen at 3:53 p.m.

A vehicle operator possibly falling asleep at the wheel and driving erratically was reported on Market Street at 7:06 p.m. but was not located by police.

Tavares Morales, 32, of Warren, was arrested on a warrant charge and eventually transferred to Bristol Police at 9:49 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 6
A caller on Redmond Street reported that his tool trailer had been broken into and had multiple items missing at 8:35 a.m. A report was filed.

A caller on Maple Road reported a couple people were walking down to a public landing after acceptable hours around 11:40 p.m. Police didn’t locate the individuals.

Friday, Jan. 7
Michael Cabral, 31, of Seekonk, Mass., was arrested following a disturbance on Union Street at 1:40 a.m. The narrative states an argument and a possible fight had broken out, resulting in charges of simple assault and/or battery and disorderly conduct for Mr. Cabral. He was arraigned and released later that morning.

A traffic accident that took down a telephone pole was reported at 7:52 a.m. No injuries were reported and National Grid was advised of the downed pole.

A No Parking sign on Davis Street was reportedly spray painted over at 10:24 a.m. DPW was notified.

A caller on Metacom Avenue reported their vehicle had been hit by a plow truck at 1:31 p.m.

A chimney fire was reported on Barden Lane at 6:00 p.m. It was extinguished without incident.

A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle on Franklin Street at 6:58 p.m.

A bicycle was reportedly stolen on Main Street at 7:28 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 8
Police checked on a man on Main Street who a caller reported was “having an issue with his pants falling down.” Police treated the man, who was injured, and transported him to Rhode Island Hospital at 4:21 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 9
Property damage, a broken window, was reported on Main Street at 10:26 a.m.

Two callers reported a driver going the wrong way down Child Street around 10:14 p.m. Police did not locate the driver.
