Warren police responded to multiple domestic incidents and DUIs between Sept. 19 and Sept. 26, 2022.
Monday, Sept. 19
Police spoke to a panhandler who was reported near Main and Market Streets at 9:45 a.m.
Authorities assisted a cat stuck in a tree on Washington Street at 12:03 p.m.
Diana Hennen, 53, of Warren, was arrested following a domestic incident on Canario Drive at 12:23 p.m. She was charged with three counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, vandalism, and disorderly conduct, all first offenses). She was transported to court later that afternoon.
Police checked up on threats that were made by a student at 4:23 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 20
Police dispersed a man on the bike path near Market Street who was reportedly intoxicated and harassing people at 12:41 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 21
A caller reported a motorized bicycle was on the bike path near Railroad Avenue at 10:49 a.m. A search for the bike came up negative.
A man near Main and Seymour Street was reported multiple times for approaching cars in the area in a suspicious manner.
A man reported at 1:10 p.m. that the driver of a vehicle had been harassing him while he walked in the area of Davis Street, throwing items at him each time he drove by.
A caller on Market Street reported that there was an erratic driver with a dog sitting on their lap around 5:38 p.m. They were not found in the area by police.
Marley Flint, 37, of Warren, was arrested after she got into a motor vehicle accident on Market Street at 9:45 p.m. She was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusing to submit to a breathalyzer (second offense). She was arraigned and released later that evening.
Thursday, Sept. 22
A caller on Massasoit Avenue reported that a dark green van had been driving erratically and chasing a group of kids that were on foot around 11:27 a.m.
A store manager on Market Street reported that a juvenile had stolen from the store around 12:18 p.m.
A caller on Wood Street reported that a tree had fallen in the area at 2:59 p.m. DEM and Rhode Island Energy were notified of the event, as the tree had partially blocked the bike path between Hope and Wood Streets.
Shirley Lepore, 62, of Warren, was arrested on Shore Drive following the report of a domestic incident at 4:12 p.m. She was charged with three counts of domestic violence (vandalism, disorderly conduct, both first offenses, and assault on a person over the age of 60 causing bodily injury). She was arraigned and released later that evening.
Police dispersed two people from Metacom Avenue at 8:48 p.m. who had gotten into an argument following a road rage incident.
Friday, Sept. 23
Wesny Clairsainvil, 27, of Warren, was arrested at 8:53 a.m. and charged with one count of selling alcohol to an underage person (first offense).
An accident involving a car and a motorcycle was reported near Main and Maple Streets at 10:46 a.m.
A caller asked officers to come speak with a student and their parents about pulling a fire alarm at 1:56 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 24
A Federal Street resident reported at 1:48 p.m. that an item had been stolen from a delivered package on their front porch.
Sunday, Sept. 25
Police restored to peace to Davis Street following a report that several people were outside arguing around 12:23 a.m.
Samantha Mailles, 35, of West Warwick, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Metacom Avenue at 3:01 a.m. She was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. She was arraigned and released later that morning.
The Touisset Point Country Club sign was reportedly damaged by a vehicle the previous night, as reported by a caller at 7:46 a.m.
A caller reported that a man pulled a hatchet on her son while at Jamiel’s Park at 9:23 a.m. The mother and son came in for a statement later that morning.
A caller on Campbell Street reported at 1:45 p.m. that there were two motorized, gas-powered bikes traveling south on the bike path. Police caught up with the riders and they were advised.
The animal control officer reported there was a black sedan doing donuts in the park near Wood Street at 1:57 p.m. They were gone when police responded minutes later.
Police dispersed a man from a Water Street store at 2:34 p.m. after a caller said his lingering presence was making his daughter uncomfortable.
Monday, Sept. 26
A woman near Market Street reported that a possibly-intoxicated man had startled her while she was sitting in her car talking to her boyfriend around 12:34 a.m. Police checked the area but did not find the individual.
