A Warren man faces multiple drug charges after police served a search warrant at his home Monday evening.
Scott Harris, 40, of Beechwood Court, was arraigned in Sixth Division District Court Tuesday morning on two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, maintaining a narcotics nuisance and possession of marijuana. He was ordered held in lieu of $15,000 bail with surety, and a pre-arraignment conference was scheduled for Monday, Sept. 27.
Warren Police Lt. Christopher Perreault said Monday's raid followed an investigation by the department's detective division, which became aware of Mr. Harris after receiving a "large number" of complaints about drug activity at the home over the past two months.
Armed with a search warrant, police from Warren and the Bristol County Sheriff's Department canine unit seized Xanax and Adderall pills, a container of 'dab' oil (a concentrated form of THC), 3.3 ounces of marijuana, a scale, packaging items and cell phones, Lt. Perreault said.
