Warren police are looking for a man who held up the Main Street Dunkin Donuts at gunpoint last Tuesday night, Oct. 29.

A clerk called police at 10:02 p.m. to report that the man, about 5’9” or 5’10” and wearing a Harley Davidson hoodie and dark pants, had just walked into the shop, brandished a gun and demanded money.

Deputy Warren Police Chief Roy Borges said the man, who was described as being in his 40s, did not harm anybody in the store and quickly left after clerks complied with his orders and handed over an indeterminate amount of money.

Grainy video footage provided by Dunkin Donuts shows the man, head lowered and hood up, as he rushed out of the store on foot.
Police have released the photo to the public in hopes that someone will recognize the man or his attire.

“We’re hoping someone in the neighborhood or out there can identify him,” the deputy chief said.

Deputy Chief Borges declined to say how much money was taken, as that is a part of the active investigation.

Detectives spent about an hour and a half at the scene following the robbery, processing the store for evidence, and also spoke to cashiers at Cumberland Farms to see if a man fitting the suspect’s description had entered their store. He did not, they said.
