Warren's annual Walkabout, a festival of art, food and music in downtown Warren, kicks off this Sunday, Oct. 25. But unlike previous years, this year's edition will run six weeks, not just one afternoon.

Walkabout will run six consecutive Sundays, through Nov. 29. It's being billed as a lower key version of the annual festival, which usually attracts hundreds. It is being staged as a joint effort between the town, Discover Warren and the Warren Arts and Cultural Commission, and town officials are using $75,000 in state "Take It Outside" grant money to rent heaters, tents and other items they hope will make it easier for business owners, artists and others to set up each weekend.

It runs from noon to 4 p.m. each Sunday. Please note that masks and social distancing are required.
