Robert D. McAdam, 63, of Warren, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at home.

He was born in Needham, MA., a son of the late Harold and Geraldine (Charves) McAdam.

“Rock” was a Sergeant in the United States Army, serving as a Cannon crew member.

He was a Machinist and Welder for the Lumeta Manufacturing for many years.

Rock had lived in Warren for over 12 years coming from Bristol.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going shooting at the Sakonnet gun range.

Rock also liked his “guys weekends” on the motorcycles.

He was an avid Sports fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and new England Patriots.

Rock also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Rock was anticipating the birth of his granddaughter in June.

He was the former husband of Donna (Perry) McAdam of Bristol.

He was the father of Eric McAdam of Bristol, Erin McAdam of Warren. He was the brother of William McAdam of Somerset, Mary Moore of North Kingstown and Elizabeth Johnson and her husband David of Warren.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Judy McAdam.

His funeral service will be held Saturday, March 7 2020 at 10 am at Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.
Burial with Military Honors will follow at 11:30 am in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Friday, March 6, 2020 from 4 to 7 pm.
