The Fourth Annual Pokanoket Heritage Day took place on Sunday, Sept. 15 at Burr’s Hill Park, inviting all members of the public to learn and engage with members of the Pokanoket Tribe to learn about their culture and history.
Activities included traditional dances, drumming, storytelling, and demonstrations of artistic techniques such as finger weaving. The beautiful weather added to an overall feeling of joy experienced by those who partook in the event
