Newport Weekend of Coaching

A "Weekend of Coaching" will return to Newport from Friday, Aug. 19, through Sunday, Aug. 21. Nine 19th-century horse-drawn coaches will fill the streets of Newport. The drives start daily at Chateau-sur-Mer on 474 Bellevue Ave. 

An additional free coaching exhibition will be held at The Elms on on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 10:30 a.m. Come learn from expert drivers, called "whips," from the Coaching Club of New York. There will be no parking at The Elms during the exhibition.
