Athletic achievement at Mt. Hope High School was on full display Wednesday, June 8 at the annual Winter/Spring Awards Night. A slew of awards were given out, from most improved athletes and athletic scholars, and team accomplishments were recognized, such as the 2022 Division Championship boys basketball team.

Many individual records were also broken on the swim team, including three relay records set by senior Luke Krawczak, Junior Gordon Kopecky, Senior Ryan Patullo, and Senior Jacob Perry in the 200 and 400 free relays (placed at states) 1:45.41 and 3:59.84 respectively, as well as senior Allyson Devine, Senior Isabelle Correira, Freshman Lindy Cobery, and Senior Eva White in the 400 Free Relay with 4:20.16. Senior Eva White now holds seven of the eight individual records for the school. Senior Jacob Perry now holds the individual record for the 100 Fly (1:05.98), previously held by Alan Aguiar (1:06.45), and senior Ryan Patullo holds the new record for the 50 Free (25.18), previously held by Austin Porto (25.49).
