To the editor:
I’m writing to applaud Peter King, owner of three major properties and businesses in Warren: Water Rower, TPI and Parker Mills, for his thoughtful investments in Warren. Most recently, he had a quarter of a mile of unsightly chain link fencing that surrounded the large parking lot across from Parker Mills removed and replaced with some handsome black iron fencing and beautiful shade TREES!
Thanks to these generous improvements, the Parker Mill neighborhood is getting some of its dignity back. This is the kind of investment that does not necessarily translate directly to dollars and cents, but it sets a positive example and contributes to making the town an attractive place for businesses and residents alike.
I hope Mr. King will inspire more property owners and businesses to make improvements like these throughout the Town of Warren. Warren is worthy of our attention and changes like this will attract the attention of others who will see the beauty of our town with new eyes.
