Letter: A worn-out politician or a successful businessman?

Your November election editorial, “Restore the soul of America,” concentrates on style but not on substance. President Donald Trump had been spied on by a cabal originating with Hillary, Comey, Clapper, Brennan and other Obama/Biden officials, participating in a ruse with a fabricated dossier generated by a Russian agent, paid for by Clinton and the Democrat party, but Trump would not be ground down by such efforts.

Impeachment for an innocuous phone call to the Ukrainian president was ludicrous, while Biden brags on video of forcing the firing of the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Burisma, where Hunter Biden was a board member.

The corroborated emails, legally obtained by the FBI from Hunter’s laptop, point out that Hunter operated as the Biden family bagman, describing the dollars to be paid to the Big Guy, Joe Biden. Trump is accused of being deceitful when he brings up the story.

The debate liar was Biden, who flip-flopped on fracking, eliminating fossil fuels, claiming no one lost health coverage with Obamacare and countless straight-out lies verifiable using Biden videos.

Before COVID-19, the Trump economy was setting records for the lowest unemployment for Hispanics, African Americans, Asians and women. Employment was the highest ever recorded, while middle class wages increased substantially, along with the stock market and retirement accounts. For the first time, energy independence has made the USA no longer dependent on the Middle East.

Trump’s moving the embassy to Jerusalem and novel initiatives for peace have three nations signing peace agreements with Israel, with more in the wings.   Trump’s solving a seemingly intractable situation caused three different European entities to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. After 18 years in Afghanistan, spending billions of dollars and youth trying to keep peace, he will pull out and let them settle it. Peace!

Biden’s plan to raise taxes on all making over $400,000 is a smoke screen, since his tax package revokes all Trump tax cuts and increases taxes on businesses that don’t pay tax, customers pay the tax through higher prices. He proposes tax increases of 4.3 trillion dollars, with another 2 trillion dollars on the green new deal.

Who do you guess will pay that bill? He is for totally opening borders, lowering wages for the sake of Democrat votes. A close reading of his 110-page manifesto will make your hair curl.

Biden, the stealth candidate, shows signs of cognitive issues, being kept under wraps for days on end, fearing that he will make further blunders. Trump has demonstrated his stamina and energy by holding two and three rallies a day, crisscrossing the country and raising unprecedented crowds in the process.

Who will you choose, a worn-out, 47-year politician who promises everything and does nothing, or a patriot who has demonstrated his ability to think outside the box to solve problems that have baffled many. If you think that the country needs a candidate to get the economy moving again, a businessman who has proven that he can solve problems, get things done, and make America first, then there is no other candidate than President Donald J. Trump.
