Rogers, Joan (Ratier) 92, of Warren, R.I., passed away at home in Brockport, N. Y. surrounded by her family on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Roland H. Rogers.

Long-time Touisset resident was Warren school teacher

Rogers, Joan (Ratier) 92, of Warren, R.I., passed away at home in Brockport, N. Y. surrounded by her family on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Roland H. Rogers.

Joan and Roland were married 61 years and lived in Touisset Point, Warren, RI.

Joan is survived by her two children, Michael Rogers of Barrington, RI and Lori (Rogers) Zamiara and her husband Tony Zamiara of Brockport, NY. Joan had two grandchildren, Megan Zamiara of Brooklyn, NY and Adam Zamiara of Hilton, NY. She was a very proud great-grandmother to Henry, Jackson and Charlotte Rohs and Bryan Zamiara. Joan is survived by her brother, Jack Ratier of Bonita Springs, FL and her beloved cousin Joyce Binyon of Cranston, RI.

Joan was a beloved teacher in Warren for over 30 years. She was a gracious, elegant woman.

A private funeral will be held in Warren at a later date.
