James M. Stabila, 53, of Rehoboth, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020 at Morton Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of Kathleen (Collins) Stabila.

Born in Fall River, a son of the late Salvador and Frances (Fox) Stabila, he was a life-long resident of the area.

A graduate of Warren High School, Class of 1985, he served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years and later worked as a mechanic at Bay State Truck and Trailer in Rehoboth for 15 years.

A true outdoorsman, James loved fishing and hunting.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: One son, Nicholas Stabila of Fall River; two brothers, Salvador P. Stabila and his wife Renee of Colorado and Paul F. Stabila of Coventry; one sister, Cynthia A. Jones and her husband Arthur of Warren; four nephews and four nieces.

Due to current restrictions his funeral and burial will be private and a memorial mass will be held at a later time.
