A group of friends worked throughout late Tuesday afternoon to keep Hard Hat, a Wellcraft cuddy fishing boat, off the rocks at Touisset Point, after it broke its mooring around 4 p.m. as the outer bands of Tropical Storm Isaias rolled over Rhode Island. The men were able to get her free around 5:30 and take her up into the safety of the Kickemuit River.
