PORTSMOUTH — A 51-year-old Portsmouth woman has been charged with cruelty to animals.
At about 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, officers responded to 28 Sprague Court to execute a search warrant and an affidavit arrest warrant for Robin Lynn Kimball of that address, police said.
The search and arrest followed an investigation by the Portsmouth Police Detective Division and the animal control officer into Kimball’s improper care of her dogs, according to police.
Kimball was charged with unnecessary cruelty to animals, and failing to provide adequate care to a dog, police said.
Here are some other recent arrests made by Portsmouth Police:
Monday, April 1
Nolan Ryan, 21, of 148 Lindsey St., Attleboro, Mass., was charged with breaking and entering into a dwelling house without the owner’s consent. Ryan turned himself in at police headquarters shortly after 11 a.m. on an affidavit warrant stemming from a previous investigation, police said.
Wednesday, April 3
Clayton Edward Frable, 58, of 999 Green End Ave., Middletown, was charged with injuring boundary or line markers, and well as larceny of under $1,500. Frable turned himself in at the police station on an affidavit warrant that had resulted from an investigation by the department’s Detective Division, police said.
Thursday, April 4
Carla Amy Willi, 51, of 21 Hood St., Apt. 3, Fall River, was charged with numerous offenses after being pulled over on Route 24 North at Freeborn Street shortly after 9 p.m. According to police, Willi displayed signs of impairment and failed a field sobriety test. In addition, narcotics were located inside of her vehicle, police said. She was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance; and driving under the influence (DUI), her first offense. Willi was also cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test, police said.
Friday, April 5
Joshua Michael Canfield, 45, of 26 Barkers Lane, Apt. 3, was charged with DUI, first offense, following a motor vehicle stop on Sprague Street at Bristol Ferry Road at about 5:15 p.m.
Saturday, April 6
Atticus Bonny, 18, of 22 Andrews Far Road, North Eaton, Mass., was charged with making a false report of a crime. Bonny responded to the police station shortly after 8 a.m. to turn himself in on a warrant that had been issued as a result of an investigation by the department’s Detective Division into an incident in January, police said.
Sunday, April 7
Andrew J. Decotis, 29, of 26 Cliff St., Tiverton, was arrested on a Tiverton Police Department warrant after he was pulled over on Route 24 around 10:10 a.m. for not using a turn signal while changing lanes, according to police. Tiverton Police responded to the scene and took custody of Decotis, police said.
