Tiverton police: Student, 15, charged with drug possession

Police took a report following an alleged larceny at the Tiverton Casino Hotel.

A Laura Street woman reported harassment/threats.

Police looked for but could not locate an erratic driver reported on Bulgarmarsh Road just before 6 p.m.

Police brought an animal to the West Place Animal Sanctuary after getting a call from Fogland Beach.

Tuesday, Jan. 18

Marta Fabrizi, 57, of 14 Rock St., Tiverton, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, BAC unknown, domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct, after police pulled a car over on Rock Street at 2:11 a.m.

Christine Jarabek, 53, of 370 Crandall Road, Tiverton, was charged with domestic simple assault and/or battery and domestic disorderly conduct, after a 911 call drew police to Crandall Road at 6:22 a.m.

Police logged a hunting complaint from Riverside Drive and contacted the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.

Police checked out two burglar alarms, one on Stafford Road and another on Shove Street, between 10:30 and 11 a.m.

A caller from Rock Street asked police to keep the peace just before 1 p.m.

A Maple Drive man reported harassment/threats.

Police were called to Randolph Avenue at 5:47 p.m. for a neighborhood dispute.

Marc R. Therien, 52, of 276 High St., Tiverton, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, BAC .15 or greater, and cited for driving with a suspended, revoked or cancelled license, after police pulled him over on Main Road at 10:02 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 19

A caller from Mill Street reported a larceny.

A caller reported trespassing on Stafford Road just after 9:30 a.m.

A caller reported a person illegally dumping trash on Louise Drive.

A caller reported the violation of a restraining order.

A Louise Drive man reported a neighborhood dispute.

Thursday, Jan. 20

A caller reported a suspicious person on Harbor Ridge Lane at 1:20 a.m. Police checked it out and reported no problem.

Police logged a hunting complaint from Seapowet Avenue at 6:43 a.m.

A juvenile, 15, was charged with possession of an ounce or less of marijuana, after police got a call from Tiverton High School at 1:13 p.m.

A Tiverton man reported threats/ harassment.

A caller from Starboard Drive reported fraud.

Brendan Thomas Hoey, 20, of 259 Tickle Road, Apt. C, was arrested on a bench warrant issued by Second Division District Court.

Isaac J. Darosa, 22, of 228 Pitman St., New Bedford, was charged with carrying a pistol or revolver without a permit, after police pulled him over on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 7:16 p.m.

Colleen L. Nutbrown, 59, of 227 Grove St., Fall River, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, 10 grams or less, obstructing an officer in the execution of his or her duty, was cited for driving iwth a suspended, revoked or cancelled license, and arrested on two bench warrants issued by Second Division District Court, after police pulled over a car in which she was a passenger on Aquidneck Avenue at 8:48 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 21

Police got a call about an intoxicated person at the Tiverton Casino Hotel just after 1 a.m.

Tedeau Semedo, 28, of 345R Country View Circle, second floor, Dartmouth, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, 10 grams or less, after police pulled over a car in which he was a passenger on Canning Boulevard, just before 5 p.m.

Noel K. Hernandez Jr., 24, of 34 Beechwood Ave., Apt. 1, Pawtucket, was charged with trespassing at the Tiverton Casino Hotel.

Saturday, Jan. 22

An animal complaint came in from Highland Road at 9:32 a.m.

Police looked for but could not located an erratic driver called in by phone at Bulgarmarsh Road at 9:39 a.m.

Raymond D. Motta, 79, of 1318 Crandall Road, Tiverton, was charged with vandalism after police were called about a landlord tenant issue at 10:07 a.m.

Sunday, Jan. 23

Police logged an animal complaint from Tony Street just after 10:30 a.m.

A Portsmouth woman reported threats/harassment. A similar call came in later that day from Highland Road.
