Tiverton police logs: Animal calls, host of arrests

Monday, Nov. 4

A driver on Route 24 called police to report an erratic driver at 9:02 a.m.

A resident reported a sex offense at the Bourne Mill Apartments at 9:58 a.m.

A disturbance was called in at 2:25 p.m. on State Avenue.

A Bulgarmarsh Road resident complained about a dirt bike at 6:47 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 5

A caller complained about a person on a dirt bike on Ledoux Lane at 8:47 a.m.

A caller reported an erratic driver on Route 24 at 10:42 a.m.

A caller reported an animal wandering Birch Street at 3:16 p.m.

A Blue Jay Street resident called police to report a scam at 4:08 p.m.

Ryan Vazquez, 39, of 140 Market St., was arrested for open warrants after a caller reported an unwanted person on Bourne Mill Apartment at 8:31 p.m.

A disturbance was reported at 8:59 p.m. at Bourne Mill Apartments.

Wednesday, Nov. 6

A Demello Drive resident reported a tree down at 4:23 a.m. Department of Public Works workers removed it.

A Persimmon Drive caller complained of noise at 7:10 a.m.

An unwanted person call came in from Canonicus Street at 8:49 a.m.

Wires were reported down on Rockland Terrace at 1:28 p.m. and Birch Street at 5 p.m.

Jenny R. Abraham, 29, of 166 Hummocks Ave, was charged with reckless during and other offenses against public safety after police pulled her over on Main Road at 3:49 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 7

A caller reported a flood on Mount Hope Avenue at 4:51 a.m.

Police were asked to keep the peace on Riverview Ave at 10:24 a.m., and again at Bourne Mill Apartments at 6:12 p.m.

A resident contacted police about a disorderly person on Cottrell Road at 1:27 p.m.

A restraining order violation was reported on Meadow View Lane at 2:30 p.m.

A dispute between neighbors on Main Road was called in at 4:36 p.m.

A resident of Hinters Way reported a disturbance at 5:58 p.m.

A caller reported suspicious activity on Durfee Road at 6:13 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 8

A resident reported suspicious activity on Mill Street at 12:02 a.m.

Police searched the area surrounding Neck Road for an erratic driver reported to police at 2:07 p.m.

Police were asked to help with keeping the peace on Mill Street at 4:15 p.m.

A resident called in an animal complaint on Christopher Avenue at 7:57 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 9

An intoxicated person was removed form the Tiverton Casino at 4:10 a.m.

Police dispersed a gathering on Main Road at 4:16 a.m.

Animal complaints came in from East Road at 8:39 a.m. and Main Road at 12:12 p.m.

A disturbance was reported on Shove Street at 6:18 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 10

Animal complaints were made from Canonicus Street at 1:40 a.m., Crandall Road at 8:18 a.m., Gadsby Lane at 11:55 a.m. and John Duggan Road at 1:09 p.m.

A resident called in a neighbor dispute on Canonicus Street at 12:47 p.m.

A caller complained of noise on Persimmon Drive at 6:37 p.m.
