A tractor trailer truck using Warren Avenue illegally was reported at 11:01 am.

Police went to Crandall Road at 5:43 pm for a fireworks complaint.

A resident told police that he may have been scammed; he said he had sent the scammer $10,000 in bitcoin.

At 7:36 pm, a caller reported four men catching undersized striped bass in the Bay Street area.

A caller reported that his dog was attacked and injured by an off-leash dog at the Dadson Moble Home Park.

A large tree fell onto Narrow Avenue at 7:58 pm.

Tuesday, June 30

Michael Donovan, 50, of 360 Sodom Road, Westport, was charged with disorderly conduct and simple assault at a Bulgarmarsh Road location at 10:33 pm.

Sean P. Donovan, 22, of 360 Sodom Road, Westport, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and simple assault at a Bulgarmarsh Road location at 10:57 pm.

Dunkin Donuts called police at 2:49 pm for help dealing with two men who became disorderly when asked to leave. The two left before police arrived.

Police were called about Airbnb tenants on Driftwood Drive who had allegedly been littering the neighborhood and throwing parties for several days.

A Bulgarmarsh Road caller complained that farm animals from the property next door keep visiting.

A Matthew Road caller told police that a coyote was in the back yard.

Wednesday, July 1

Jessica L. Washington, 24, of Fall River, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence while transporting a child under age 13, and possession of a controlled substance, at 9:37 pm at a Stafford Road location.

At 11:19 am, the pulley on a state DOT lawnmower broke and damaged Tiverton's Rescue 2 ambulance on Fish Road at Bulgamarsh.

Police went to Judson Street at 6:53 pm for a fireworks complaint.

Officers were called back to Driftwood Drive for more noise complaints about an Airbnb.

Police were notified about a verbal argument regarding face masks at Barcello's Restaurant. An officer resolved the problem by phone.

Thursday, July 2

John Vasquez, 47, of New Bedford, was arrested at 11:31 pm at Bourne Mill Apartments on charges of domestic disorderly conduct, domestic simple assault,, domestic vandalism, and possession of a controlled substance.

A caller complained of construction work starting before 7 am on Christopher Avenue.

Police went to Fogland Beach for a report of people fishing in the swimming area. Nothing was found.

A Driftwood Drive resident notified police that his neighbor is using a lawnmower without a muffler. An officer said he would notify the neighbor about the ordinance.

A caller reported at 10:25 pm that a car was doing donuts in a Bulgarmarsh Road parking lot and the driver was throwing things at a mailbox.

Police went to Stoney Hollow Road for a fireworks complaint at 10:29 pm.

Friday, July 3

Loud fireworks were reported at 1:05 am on Hooper Street.

Police went to Four Rod Way in response to a report of chainsawing before 7 am.

A high speed motorcycle was reported on Nanaquaket Road. Police broke off pursuit.

Justin J. Moniz, 21, of 857 Main Road, Tiverton, was arrested on a charge of receiving stolen goods at 11:04 am at a location off Main Road.

Police went to Montgomery Street for a fireworks complaint at 7:35 pm. More fireworks complaints followed regarding Fort Barton Tower, Grinnell's Beach, Pelletier Lane, Town Farm, Fish Road (juveniles shooting fireworks at cars) ...

Saturday, July 4

Matthew J. Cafarella, 22, of 27 Friendship Farm Lane, Little Compton, was arrested at 8:10 pm on Main Road on a charge of driving under the influence of liquor.

After receiving a 911 call, police and rescue went to Stafford Road at 4:09 am for a pickup truck that had hit a pole. The pole was snapped but the driver declined treatment for injuries.

At 6:25 pm, police went to Clement Street for a fireworks complaint. Later complaints came from Crandall Road, Bulgarmarsh Road, the Villages on Mount Hope Bay, King Road, Grinnell's Beach, Seapowet Beach, Highland Road, Judson Street, Durfee Road, Coral Lane, Lake Road, Hancock Street, Bay Street, Silver Beech Road, a pub on Crandall Road (employees told to stop), Kenyon Road, Bulgarmarsh Flea Market, Briggs Lane (caller said he “asked neighbor to stop kindly” and was threatened), Persimmon Drive, Robert Gray Avenue, Fish Road park and ride (group dispersed), Harris Drive, Briggs Lane again, Stafford Road, John Duggan Road, Fogland Road, Briggs Lane again, Wampanoag Lane, Hooper Street, Villages on Mount Hope Bay dock ...

Sunday, July 5

Large fireworks being set off on Schooner drive were reported at 12:21 am.

Shauna Palmieri, 34, of 1 Mill St., Tiverton, was arrested on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct at 12:30 am at Bourne Mill Apartments.

Juveniles jumping off Nanaquaket Bridge were dispersed at 5:18 pm.

Fireworks complaints were received regarding Pocasset Hill Cemetery and Windwood Drive.

Monday, July 6

A Nanaquaket Road caller reported that his neighbor is having a function and using his stone wall.

A Hancock Street caller told police that she lent an air conditioner to somebody who now refuses to return it.

Police and rescue were called to 1148 Stafford Road for an accident with minor injuries at 4:50 pm.
