Police were called about a man going door-to-door at 7 am on Stafford Road.

A Shove Street business called at 11:59 am to complain about someone dumping trash at that location.

Police were called to Bay Street at 2:26 pm for an accident caused when a vehicle ran over a headboard in the middle of the road.

A Haskins Avenue caller called at 3:38 pm to report that equipment had been vandalized.

Police checked the Mount Hope Bridge for a report of a possibly suicidal person headed there from Fall River — nobody was found.

Police went to Seaview Court for a complaint of a neighbor who is ringing the doorbell at 11:31 pm and won’t leave. A no trespass order was issued to the neighbor.

Tuesday, Oct. 6

Road rage, “parties yelling at each other,” was reported by a 911 caller on Main Road at 10:52 am.

A Pocasset Avenue caller called about a barking dog at 11 am.

Police were called by 911 to Williamson Street for a man and woman arguing in the middle of the road.

Police were called at 1:57 pm about a truck using Warren Avenue as a cut-through.

Police and rescue responded to a 4:02 pm 911 report of a rollover accident on Route 24 south at the Main Road exit. A woman was transported to St. Anne’s Hospital and DOT was called about a destroyed sign.

Police went to the Tiverton Casino at 7:41 pm to assist with an ejection.

Wednesday, Oct. 7

At 6:18 pm, police were called to a Main Road dance studio to deal with a complaint about noise.

A caller reported finding an amount of cash on Main Road near the Fall River line at 1:51 am.

A tree fall across Crandall Road shortly after noon, blocking a lane. DOT was called.

A basketball hoop in the roadway was reported on Cypress Avenue at 2:22 pm.

A Bourne Mill Apartments caller reported that her car was missing at 3:38 pm. Police determined that the car had been repossessed.

Police were called to a Stafford Road convenience store  at 2:14 pm for “reports of a female coughing in husband’s face.”

Sonja Lynn Matson, 35, of Fall River, was arrested on a bench warrant from 2nd District Court and on charges of obstructing a police officer and driving with a suspended license, third offense, after a 5 pm traffic stop at a State Avenue location.

A coyote sighting was reported on Lepes Avenue at 6:1 pm.

At 6:13 pm, a caller reported that he cuts grass at a Briggs Lane address and is having trouble with a neighbor.

At 6:49 pm, a 911 caller reported a tree down on Main Road at East Road.

At 6:59 pm, a 911 caller reported a tree entirely blocking Mourning Dove Drive.

Wires down on Blueberry Lane were reported at 7:03 pm.

Wires down on Lakeside Drive were reported at 8:08 pm.

A tree in the roadway was reported on Nanaquaket Road at 8:17 pm.

A mysterious noise inn the house — not a person, sounds like electricity — was reported on Quaker Avenue. Low battery in smoke detector, replaced, the officer reported.

Thursday, Oct. 8

Cars parking illegally in handicapped spots were reported at a Hurst Lane medical facility.

A 911 caller reported a car vs motorcycle accident on Eageville Road at 3:37 pm. A man received leg abrasions but nobody needed transport to the hospital.

A Crandall Road caller asked that police do a welfare check on the condition of cows at 4:41 pm. “The cows in question are fake,” an officer reported.

A Fernandes Avenue resident reported that neighbors are revving their engines at 10:40 pm.

A car vs. animal accident at 11:11 pm on Route 24 North left the car damaged. No word on the animal.

Friday, Oct. 9

Police assisted at 12:48 am as a Tiverton Casino patron was handed a one-year ejection.

Nanaquaket Road callers reported what sounded like an explosion to the north at 1:34 am. Nothing was found.

Items were reported stolen from a Stafford Road construction site at 9:53 am.

At 2:33 pm, police were called about a 12-year old boy who ran out of a school bus on Fish Road. The boy was found.

Jared M. Lally, 33, of Fall River, was arrested on a warrant from another department at 8:25 pm at a Hooper Street address.

Someone playing music in the woods was reported at 11:38 pm on Cornell Road. Police found that a person was playing music in his car, parked in a King Road driveway.

Saturday, Oct. 10

Fredrick J. Amadao Rodrigues, 19, of Fall River, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, over one ounce, and possession of a prohibited weapon other than a firearm at 1:03 am at the Tiverton Casino Hotel.

A motorist reported striking a deer on Fish Road at 4:51 am. The deer was not found.

A speeding motorcycle was reported on Meadow View Lane at 2:22 pm, and again at 3:05 pm.

Sunday, Oct. 11

Police responded to complaints of a loud party in the area of Willian Barton Drive at 12:38 am. Homeowners agreed to turn the music down.

A Fairfield Avenue caller said that a silver Dodge Caravan had tried to run him over at 7:18 am.

At 1:2 am, police received reports of gunshots at a potato farm near the Little Compton line.

Police and rescue responded to a 91 call at 11:37 am about a car vs. motorcycle accident  on Main Road near Coastal Roasters. One person was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

At 7:09 pm, police went to Route 24 South near Fish Road for a van that had been driving through a construction site when the hot dog cart it was towing became dislodged and went down an embankment. “Cart returned to owner,” an officer reported.

A pack of coyotes howling was reported at 8:6 pm off Bay Street.

Gunshots in the area for the past hour were reported at 9:11 pm off Hooper Street. At around the same time, gunshots were reported near Audet Street and fireworks were reported near Carpenter Street.

Monday, Oct. 12

A stolen campaign sign was reported on Old Main Road.

A caller reported the theft of a sports bet ticket worth over $900.

Keith B. Frederick, 26, of Boston, Mass., was arrested on charges of domestic simple assault, domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct at 6:41 pm at a Meadow View Lane address.

Matthew D. Chase, 32, of 224 Christopher Ave., Tiverton, was arrested on a bench warrant from 2nd Division District Court at 11 pm at that address.
