Rhoda R. Barker went home to the Lord on Jan. 29, 2020. She leaves her husband Wayne; three daughters, Ruth Hall, Lisa Barker and Heidi Barker; three grandsons, Austen, Adison and Aiden; and three brothers, David, Richard and Salvatore.
She resided most of her life in Tiverton, and lived for the past 29 years in Palm Bay, Florida.
In her younger years, Rhoda was a talented precision roller skater. During the years her husband served in the military, they entered many dance contests together, winning a number of them. She was active in her churches, often making clothes and sweaters for missions.
She was a very jovial person — “She made ‘I Love Lucy’ look like a drama,” her husband said.
There was a memorial service at Church On the Rock, 4028 S. Babcock St., Melbourne, on Friday, Feb. 14. Arrangements were by Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Palm Bay, 321-724-2222. Condolences at afcfcare.com.
