A Long Highway resident contacted police at 9:33 am to express concerns that someone may have been in the residence sometime last night.

Tuesday, Oct. 6

At 12:47 pm, a Long Highway resident called 911 to voice fears that someone had just entered the house and to request rescue. The caller was transported to Newport Hospital.

At 9:19 pm, a West Main Road resident called police to report that someone had placed a Craigslist ad for cats using his address and that now people are showing up at his residence.

Wednesday, Oct. 7

At 10:16 am, a caller reported a death at a Little Compton residence. Little Compton and Tiverton emergency personnel and the state Medical Examiner responded.

Thursday, Oct. 8

A 10:59 am caller on Amesbury Lane notified police that an iPhone had been found.

An Indian Road resident called police at 12:38 pm to report that a contractor had verbally assaulted and threatened him.

Police were called to a motor vehicle accident on Watson Way at 4:27 pm. There were no injuries.

Friday, Oct. 9

At 9:01 am, The Barn Restaurant on Main Street told police that threats had been made by a caller.
